“God, harden me against myself.” — Amy Carmichael
I saw this today and I felt the Holy Ghost. On this resurrection Sunday *Amen* The day when death was conquered in victory…The day that sealed our triumph through Christ Jesus.
What a magnificent confession! Self is anything that warreth against the sanctified Christian soul. It is the unwilling burden along the Christian journey. It is everything that leads to sin…
But the great news today is…Jesus Christ died and rose up on the third day *hallelujah* To give us the power over the deeds, the whim, the caprices of any iota of the flesh.
Today, we can boldly confess “I beat my body and make it my slave…” like Paul did.💯🙏 It is because of the finished work(s) that Jesus Christ did on the Cross of Calvary. And because He is Risen *Amen* Self-will, self-pride, self-righteousness, self-decadence et al…have all been swallowed up in victory!
I am a testimony of the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. I know you are too *Amen*
If you have not been washed by the Blood of the Lamb…enter in today, my dear friend. Let the Lord harden every self in you and use you for His glory.
It’s Romans 8:11…
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
Happy Resurrection Sunday from this awesome blog!
