I haven’t been here in a while. Literally smiling writing this edition of the digest…it’s great to be back!
What am I going to write about today? First of all, that quote gives one a lot to meditate on.
Let the interpretation start this way… I just listened again
to Helen Baylor’s Testimony
and I had to clap at the end of the sharing. It’s divine how God delivered her from the ‘trap’
of her dream.
Yes! The trap of a dream – I said it! As dreamers with talents, we get to phases along our journeys, where the devil tries to make us use our talents to glorify him *but that devil lied*
It’s a classic question of, “who gave you that talent?”… The next question is, “what is God’s will for your life?”
You go on to answer these questions with a follow-up question, “is it God’s will for you to perish with the talent He has given you?”
I am going to help us answer this follow-up question, it is a resounding, ‘No!!!’ It is a classic case of this scripture that thrills me every time.
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
– 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV) #MyBestVerses
Therefore, the final question is, “If the little details of your eating and drinking should be done to the glory of the Lord, how much more the use of the talent God has given you?”
May the Lord give unto us understanding. Amen!
The question of the Week:
“Are you experiencing the trap of your dream?”
Let me say this another way, ‘do you think the way you are living out your dream is giving glory to God?’
Remember this always!!!
